PLASgran has recently invested in a new Bronneberg G-25 reel splitter to improve our recycling efficiencies and deliver a better service to our clients. The new roll-cutting machine, manufactured in Holland, is specially designed for the splitting of rolls measuring up to 1,500mm in width and 850mm in diameter.
After our recent investment of £1.7m in a state-of-the-art EREMA plastics compounding line at our purpose-built facility in Wimblington, Cambridgeshire, the PLASgran team performed detailed market research to identify suitable equipment that would complement and enhance the system’s capabilities.
With the Bronneberg G-25, PLASgran is able to speed up the recycling process and remove the cardboard core, leaving only “clean plastic”. This enables us to maintain the 2.5 tonne per hour in-feed rate of the EREMA line.
