In the current unprecedented situation concerning the threat of the Covid-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic, the Management Team at Plasgran would like to issue an update to our valued customers.
Plasgran is currently fully operational and is very much business as normal with regards to raw material supplies and customer deliveries.
The situation is having an increasing impact on all aspects of our personal and business lives. Plasgran are following all relevant Government guidelines to ensure we can continue to deliver the high standard and efficiency of service that our customers expect from us and in the safest and most sustainable manner.
The Plasgran team are working hard on suitable contingency plans, should issues arise with staff shortages and other associated effects as a result of this difficult situation. To enable us to continue to support all of our customers we request that orders and forecasts are received with as much lead time as possible. On the flip side, if orders are to be delayed or cancelled we would appreciate formal updates as early as feasibly possible in the decision-making process so we can react and change priorities ourselves.
From a logistical perspective, we run our own fleet of vehicles including tankers so are well-positioned to again minimise any disruption externally of Plasgran in the general freight supply chain. However, there are situations outside of our control such as border closures for European deliveries which may result in later than planned deliveries. If this is the case, you will be informed as soon as any delay is identified.
This is a fast-evolving situation and the Team are in constant discussions to ensure we manage the challenges posed to minimise any potential disruption caused.
We fully appreciate your business and support and will be doing everything possible to ensure we support you during this testing time.
